Engobe with deflocculant and fondant for biscuit pieces.

An engobe is a slip of white (or coloured) earth that is applied to pottery that is still wet to change its colour or to obtain a decorative effect.

To improve the slip's hold on the piece, add 5 to 10% of the intended glaze to the slip.
