Decorating clay with a bulb.

Apply the slip after having moistened the shard which, for the most part, is far too dry.

If you apply it to a dry pot, it is likely to crack as it dries and tightens, as the pot will have already shrunk.

Fill the bulb with sufficiently liquid slip (like light crepe batter) so that the material flows freely and does not block the bulb's nozzle.

Apply the pattern: You can make very regular dots, lines with the bulb or draw very free patterns with the bulb or even dripping.

The slip is applied with the pear, in the form of a bead or dots, so that you can make partitions that can be filled with glaze after the first firing (type CUERDA SECA)
