Glass mosaic 20x20mm.

Solargil glass mosaics are manufactured in a traditional way.

The glass is coloured with metallic oxides.

It is then poached with a ladle at around 1200°C and poured into a rolling mill, a sort of waffle iron.

The glass paste will take its shape around 900°C when it cools.

The tesserae separate naturally from each other.

Thanks to this traditional manufacturing process, Solargil glass mosaics are recognisable by their mineral appearance and irregularity.
