LEAD-FREE, HIGH-TEMPERATURE COLOURED ENGOBES READY FOR USE (LIQUID) OR POWDER.
The "high temperature engobe" series is a collection of coloured engobes designed to glaze or decorate stoneware or porcelain pieces.
This series is available in powder and liquid (suspension).
They can be applied manually with a brush, a spray gun or by dipping.
Industrially by spray gun and discs.
They can be used for both stoneware and porcelain decoration.
The temperature range is from 980°C to 1280°C, the maximum colour development is at 1280°C.
For maximum colour development at 980°C, it is necessary to cover (cover) the EASP slip with a transparent glaze.
USE IN POWDER FORM
Depending on the type of application to be run, you need to set the appropriate rheology parameters, i.e. :
Setting the appropriate density and viscosity for each enamelling process.
The percentage of water to powder ratio depends on the enamelling system used, as well as the porosity of the part to be enamelled or decorated (we recommend starting with a ratio of 1 to 1).
This range of engobes is suitable for both single and double firing.
If they are to be used for single firing, it is recommended to add 5% Monocol V (5) for better adhesion to the piece.
